Hello, lovely people.
I am so sorry that I have been absent in the last month or so, but I had a lot of trouble trying to transfer my website. Thanks to the help of a friend I managed to finally export it from my old host and import it to the new one. This friend is officially a lifesaver.
Furthermore, I am really happy that I am finally able to blog again and share my thoughts, experiences and of course talk about fashion trends. Speaking of trends I wanted to go over three of my favorite spring/summer 2017 trends.
Oversized Denim Jackets
This was definitely one of those trends nobody thought would return. And to be honest while growing up I hated baggy denim jackets and preferred tighter clothing. Big, light blue denim jackets were a no-go. I could have never imagined wanting to wear one of those, but now I am actually starting to really like them. They look very cool and edgy and can make a rather boring outfit stand out. I especially like this trend when combined with a cute summer dress or tight leather jeans and a cute top. Definetely a must-try.
For this trend I have to say that I have pretty mixed feelings. It is sort of a love/hate relationship between us. Describing this trend in other words: less is more. It definitely looks cute when it is just a detail of the certain clothing piece, rather than it spreading all around the fabric and becoming the main focus. Embroidery such as flowers or cool texts are my favorite types and look especially cute when stitched into denim or leather jackets.
I have always been a huge fan of big sunglasses, but always preferred the black cat-eye model over others. Yet, lately I have been really liking sunglasses with a round frame and funky colors. As a person who is used to wearing a lot of black (I have been working on changing this), just putting a pair of sunglasses that stand out, can really make my oufit less Queen of Darkness and more Happy Hippie…or so I hope.
