Hey, guys. Currently I am flying to Sofia and I decided it will be the perfect time to write a new blogpost. The last few days I have been absent on my blog, but I was very occupied with my assignments and preparations around my trip. I am glad to say that everything went well and now I can enjoy my holiday. Well, to some extent. I still have two assignments left that are due after my spring break, but they are very interesting and require a lot of creativity, hence I am excited to work on them.
Furthermore, at the moment I am just sitting in the plane, looking outside and thinking about all the delicious food that is awaiting me back home. I am sorry to my friends and family, who by now are probably thinking that I am only thrilled for all the food I am going to eat. I cannot wait to be reunited with all the people that I hold close to my heart. And of course the weather is supposed to be better than it is in the UK. It is already 25+ degrees back home and most days are pretty sunny. Also since we changed the time and the day has become longer I am more motivated and consequently more productive. This definitely makes me happier and more satisfied with myself.
Except for today. Today I woke up at 6am in the morning and only had about three hours of sleep, because we went to a party at a friend’s house. My boyfriend and I had to be at the bus stop very early to catch our bus to London. And since yesterday was quite busy we are very tired. We both had left everything for the last moment. So as you can imagine my day was pretty much running around the city and handling my responsibilities. After all I am an adult now (yeah, an CHILDult maybe). In the afternoon I went out with a friend and we ate Thai. Nom. Somehow this blogpost always returns to food, but I had no time to eat at all. Well, okay, that’s not entirely true…I had a little bit of spare time at the Airport in London, where I bought sushi from Wassabi. Do you know it? It was the second time I ate there and I have to say that I am pretty impressed. Everything was fresh, there was a great variety and the prices were pretty decent. Kind of regretting that I didn’t get more.
I think I will be ending this post here as I will use the rest of my flight for a well-deserved nap. I wish you all a Happy Easter and a lot of sunny spring days spent with your loved ones.
